Life is good when you can spend Christmas day on the beach.
I received a great Christmas gift from Alan and I could hardly wait to try it out. It's a Kialoa Shaka Pu'u paddle. When I took it out of the box, I was surprised at how light it was! I've been paddling with a Global Surf Industries carbon paddle and I thought that was light until I picked up the Kialoa. I'm spoiled for life now!
The weather cooperated and the day warmed up into the low 80s. We arrived at the beach early in the afternoon and found that the water was relatively warm. Nice!
I'm thoroughly impressed with the new paddle. It's light and sized to fit me - paddling was effortless. What a sweet present. Thanks Alan!
